With an already impressive array of highlights to her career, including the 2009 Central American and 2010 Pan American Games, trainer Samira Uemeura of Brazil added a Premier Equestrian Sportsmanship Award to that list while showing a handsome string of young talent at the Wellington Classic Dressage Sunshine Challenge, held in conjunction with the World Dressage Masters, January 24-27, in West Palm Beach, FL. I cannot complain,” said the easy going and gracious Uemeura, whose stable of dressage talent includes showing her own eight year-old gelding, Tamarindo.Underlining the very attitude epitomized by the tenets of good sportsmanship and horsemanship, the newly-minted Premier Equestrian Sportsmanship Award winner shared the secret to her success: “Stay determined.
