Best in Breed Conservation Group

Devon, PA – Sept. 24, 2023 – Dressage at Devon is thrilled to welcome a new group of loyal DaD supporters to the breed show this year as a new kind of sponsor. Ten breeders have gathered together to form the inaugural “Best in Breed Conservation Group.” Exclusively offering funds to the breed show this year and in years to come, the group was founded by Melanie Pai to help preserve and expand the historic event.

The founding breeders of the group have been avid Dressage at Devon competitors, most for decades. Dressage at Devon gave them a place to take their elite breeding stock and helped to place each of the prominent breeding programs on the map. The Best in Breed Conservation Group plans to perpetually give back to the show that has given the greater dressage breeding community in North America so much for so many years.

The Dressage at Devon Breed Division

The Dressage at Devon Breed Division is both a USDF Breeders Championship Series Qualifier and East Coast Final. Three days of competition features foals, young horses, and mature breeding stock from all breeds competing for a championship spot in the USDFBCS East Coast Final. Additionally, one day is dedicated to Individual Breed Classes where horses of the same breed compete against each other, and the DAD Pony Division, sponsored by Moore’s Furniture.
