ABIC/USDF Region 3 Finals

Bent Jensen participated his first ABIC/USDF Championship this year since his newly acquired U.S. Citizenship.

Jensen won the open training level championship (76.4%) with his 4-year old Rubinstein I stallion, Rockefeller in only the horse’s third show. Jensen bought the horse at auction in Denmark as a weanling. In just as many outings, he earned his qualifying scores, claiming the ABIC title, Oldenburg approval and provisional approval from the International Sporthorse Registry.

Jensen then danced to the top top of the fourth level freestyle class (68.2%) aboard his 7-year old Holsteiner stallion Columbo (Carpaccio / Fabelhaft) with a lively musical medley designed by fellow Dane, Lis Christianson.

Jensen entered the winner’s circle to claim the blanket, jacket, and ABIC/USDF winning title for the second time during the show.

Making the 10 hour drive home Sunday night Jensen hurried back to south Florida where he has yet another new horse was coming into the country, to strengthen his chances as a strong contender for the USA.
