“We use Back On Track Products on all our horses. We use the leg wraps, and the sheets. I have shirts that I use myself and I have clients who use the elbow support. We use them on everybody all the time,” said top dressage competitior and coach, Michelle Gibson. She continued, “The sheets, especially in the winter, we will use on the horses all night, and the leg wraps will also go on all night. The horses warm-up a little bit looser, more relaxed, and easier if they have worn the product.” The Back on Track company manufactures joint and muscle protection, which are manufactured from a "ceramic textile" which is sold under the registered brand name Back on Track. The textile is made up of fibers of polyester and polypropylene (some of the products are mixed with cotton fibers) with a ceramic powder fused into the fibers. The ceramic gives the fabric its unique property, which reflects body heat in the form of infrared heat radiation. Gibson said, “When I travel to give a clinic, a lot of times on the airplane it’s cold. I’ll wear a Back On Track shirt just to stabilize my body warmth. It makes a difference when I arrive to the clinic sight. My muscles aren’t cramped and tight.”
Back on Track's joint and muscle support are all made of functional textiles with heat reflective properties. The textile is a synergy of ancient Chinese experience and modern scientific textile technology. During the manufacturing of polyester- or polyester fibers, the ceramic particles are fused into the fibers. When heated, the ceramic particles radiate a heat back towards the body. This reflected heat is long-wave heat radiation, which is also known as long wave infrared radiation. Gibson commented, “The people at Back On Track, Bo and his whole staff are all really wonderful people. It’s not only a great product, but great people. They are always helpful and what I like best is that they are real people with a strong passion to help the dressage horse and rider in a way that really makes a difference. The products really help me out with my coaching, training and ultimately my business.”
