Wellington, Florida – Many of the world's best dressage riders gathered at the Wellington Equestrian Center for the Exquis World Dressage Masters, but the world-class competition wasn't the only thing generating excitement at the event. Drawings for Back on Track products literally had some spectators on their feet and pleading for a prize.

Bo Lofvander, owner of Back on Track Products in the USA, was thrilled with the enthusiasm generated by the product give-away. "People were certainly excited about getting our products and we're happy to see that," he said. "We donated the products because we wanted spectators to get a chance to win something useful to them and also because we wanted to do something that would be fun for them. And they sure seemed to have fun." Yes, they did, said  said Agata Rekucka, who was lucky enough to catch a Back on Track horse blanket.
Rekucka is with KYB Dressage in Illinois, where many Back on Track products are in use. "I was very excited to catch one of the Back on Track blankets. I know how great their products are because we use all different kinds of Back on Track products and our horses love them," she said. "Thank you Bo!"

Another lucky winner was Jessica Cooney, a dressage rider from Cornwall, New York who winters in Ocala, Florida. She won a Back on Track therapeutic horse blanket with a little help from her husband. "He told me he was going to win me one of those Back on Track products. He was literally throwing me over the side of the balcony to get their attention when they were giving them out. It was so much fun."

Cooney was thrilled with her prize, not only, she said, because "I never win anything, it's always the person next to me or in front of me," but also because she's been wanting a Back on Track horse blanket. "My trainer bought one for her horse and she's in love with Back on Track products. She swears by them, not only for her horse but for her." Cooney said she'll be using her new Back on Track product to help warm her horse's muscles before starting work. "I just can't wait to use it," she said.

Back on Track products were popular with everyone at the World Dressage Masters competition, not just spectators but also competitors. It was Back on Track user Steffen Peters who took the win in Friday's Grand Prix. Peters and Ravel won with a score of 75.574 percent and the next day scored a 76.60 in the Grand Prix Freestyle competition, which earned them a third-place finish and $11,038 in prize money. The big winner in the Grand Prix Freestyle was leading world dressage rider Anky van Grunsven riding IPS Painted Black. Second in the Freestyle went to Dutch rider Hans-Peter Minderhoud riding Exquis Escapado.

While riders competed for a piece of the more than $130,000 in prize money, spectators focused on winning one of the many Back on Track products given away as door prizes. Around $10,000 worth of Back on Track therapeutic products – 23 horse blankets, 22 pairs of leg wraps and 22 saddle pads – were given away during the two days of competition, held Jan. 30-31.

Some of the prizes were tossed to fans like Cooney who jumped, yelled and did just about anything to attract attention and lure a Back on Track product their way. In the VIP tent, Back on Track products were given away by drawing ticket numbers. And, that led many spectators to scour nearby tables and snatch unattended tickets to increase their chances of holding tickets with winning numbers.

The World Dressage Masters brings together the world's best rider and horse pairs and is by invitation only. The competition in Wellington, Florida was a five-star CDI and part of a series of World Dressage Masters competitions. The other competitions are Salzburg Austria, (May 1-3), Munich, Germany, (May 21-24) and Hickstead, Great Britain (July 23-26).

Back on Track therapeutic products for horses, people and dogs help reduce inflammation, ease muscle tension, increase blood circulation and hasten healing. In addition to Steffen Peters, other American dressage riders who use Back on Track products include Debbie McDonald, Michelle Gibson, Courtney King, Sue Blinks and Australian Ilse Schwarz. Jumper riders include Beezie Madden, McLain Ward, Anne Kursinski, Margie Engle and Chris Kappler.
