FEI “O” Judge  To Conduct Two-Day Dressage Clinic At State of the Art Facility in South Carolina




Bluffton, SC (October 29, 2009) – Maple Run Enterprises, managed by Hall of Fame jockey Eddie Maple and his wife Kate, are bringing World Class Equestrian Anne Gribbons to Bluffton, South Carolina for two days of Dressage instruction.  The clinic will take place November 10th and 11th, 2009 and will consist of multiple sessions daily.  Gribbons is skilled in all aspects of Dressage instruction and the clinic is open to riders of all abilities. Anne Gribbons is an FEI "O" dressage judge and a U.S. Equestrian Federation (USEF) sport horse breed judge. A native of Sweden, she has been active in American dressage since 1972 as a rider, trainer, judge and advocate for youth. She has trained with Dr. Volker Moritz, Harry Boldt and the late Herbert Rehbein and was a member of the U.S. Pan American silver medal team in 1995. She has trained and shown more than a dozen horses to Grand Prix - nine were long-listed for the U.S. Equestrian Team. She has been a board member of USEF for ten years, and acted as U.S. chef d’equipe at the 2001 World Cup. Currently a member of the USEF High-Performance Committee, Gribbons is based in Chuluota, Florida.

Maple Run Enterprises recently took over the reins of the equestrian center at Rose Dhu Creek Plantation in Bluffton, SC. The center is a first class facility, featuring a 16,000 square foot state-of-art barn containing 32 12’x12’ stalls, climate controlled tack rooms, and even a rider’s lounge complete with big screen T.V. and satellite. There are three large arenas including a covered and lighted arena and two all-weather arenas, 12 rotating paddocks with run-in shelters and cooling misters, and over 6.5 miles of established riding and leisure trails that meander through 320 stunning acres of the Rose Dhu Creek Plantation. The stables managed by Maple Run Enterprises are full service facilities offering instruction in all disciplines, world class clinics, boarding and training, horse showing, sale horses, and lay-ups.
