Andy Marcoux – Coachman’s Delight

Andy Marcoux has been training horses and teaching carriage driving for over 30 years. A graduate of the Stockbridge School of Agriculture, he founded Coachman’s Delight, Inc. in 1997 to provide training, clinics, and online education for drivers worldwide.

Marcoux is currently competing as a USEF/FEI 3* Combined Driving athlete in the single horse division. He is located near Ocala, Florida, during the winter season, and is available for training and clinics.
A Light Harness Horse Instructor and Assessor certified by the British Driving Society, Andy helped create the Carriage Association of America’s Driver Proficiency Program and now serves as a Master Evaluator. He is also a former ADS judge and seasoned competitor in combined and pleasure driving, from singles to four-in-hand.
Known for his clear, engaging teaching style, Andy blends humor, honesty, and deep experience to help riders and drivers of all levels build skill and confidence. His principles are rooted in dressage, with an emphasis on communication, safety, and the horse’s long-term well-being.
Beyond the equestrian arena, Andy is also a certified USPA skydiving instructor and examiner, introducing students to the thrill of flight with the same passion and clarity he brings to his horse training.
