While Andrew Hoy was winning the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event last weekend in Lexington Kentucky, his wife Bettina was home keeping the Olympian’s string of event horses in condition. Looks like the family plan worked out.
Hoy Wins Badminton on Dressage Score
While Andrew Hoy was winning the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event last weekend in Lexington Kentucky, his wife Bettina was home keeping the Olympian’s string of event horses in condition. Looks like the family plan worked out.
Winning on his dressage score of 36.5, Hoy put in a faultless cross country and show jumping round to capture what was Eventing’s biggest prize, the Badminton Mitsubishi Cup. Hoy is now in position to win the $250,000 Rolex Eventing Grand Slam. The final four star test will be at Burghley, September 7-10, in England.
Meanwhile, Hoy's Kentucky victory will be highlighted today, Sunday, May 7 on NBC at 2:00 PM.
