Cathy Morelli and Doublet were awarded a Barnsby AVG Dressage saddle and bridle for their win in the Grand Prix Open Championship class at the USDF Region 1 Finals. The Finals were held at the New Jersey Horse Park, October 9-11, 1998. As Doublet sniffed the bag containing the bridle and gave the saddle a good nudge, Cathy Morelli commented "He is almost too interested in the saddle to ham for the camera."
