$400,000 in Prize Money for Dressage and Show Jumpers In Omaha

The Burlington Capital International Omaha featuring 200 jumping and 40 dressage horses competing for nearly $400,000 in prize money, April 4-7, 2019 at the CHI Health Center Omaha 455 N 10th St, Omaha, Nebraska, 68102
Show jumping competitions include the $100,000 Omaha Grand Prix and $100,000 RFD-TV InIt2WinIt Speed Jumping Finals, a series launched by the Omaha Equestrian Foundation in 2018.
The dressage part of the show will feature the $50,000 Omaha Dressage Team Challenge presented by Rowan O'Riley and Mission Control, where teams of three competitors - including Grand Prix, Young Riders, and Para Riders - will compete in one round of technical tests before competing in the culminating International Omaha Team Dressage Challenge Final, the popular Musical Freestyle competition.
Internationally known dressage rider and trainer, Katherine Bateson-Chandler will be joining forces with legendary show jumping trainer George H. Morris as part of the event's educational "Dressage Foundation Showcase," a ticketed clinic that will be held on Friday, April 5 at 4:45 p.m. The pair will also give free demonstrations and mini clinics in the "Horse Discovery Zone" at other times during the four-day event.
There will be 20,000 square feet of educational space in the TRIPLE CROWN Horse Discovery Zone including the Gallery of Breeds and the KIEWIT Horse of Course interactive display area. Breyer horses will also be featured with demos, workshops, and Stablemates painting.
Featuring a Tailgate Lounge and food service area, the Boutique Shopping Village, is located in the heart of the action where visitors can eat, shop, visit Wine Alley to sample ten different wines, get a massage or mani at the Pampered Pony Salon while watching the competitors warm up for show.
