Wellington, FL - A great seat, like great style, develops over time. Beautiful Paula Matute, easily stood out for 2kGrey’s Best Seat Award during Week One of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, now through March 30. Matute has been riding since the age of six, and is part of the Spanish riding dynasty headed by three-time Spanish Olympian, Juan Matute, Sr. She drew rave reviews for the exceptional silhouette the stylish beauty cut on her black gelding and former Spanish National Champion Four Year Old, Firmamento Ymas. Now age six, the 17-hand Hanoverian has been under Matute's training for the last two years.{C} “One day I hope we can do Grand Prix together,” she said, after the JR/YR pair turned in a 62.838% performance in the FEI Junior Team 2009 test. “I just want us to continue to find the best in each other.”

Matute, whose signature red high heels outside of the show ring belie her own inner fashionista, was flattered to received the 2kGrey Best Seat Award.

“Fashion is important, especially to dressage. I love my discipline but the look can get a little too 'classic' sometimes. I think we all need new things, new styles. Bringing a little 'fresh air' into the arena is always good.”

“We thought a Best Seat Award aligned perfectly with 2kGrey,” Ranzer said. “We are all about looking and feeling your best, when you ride or wherever you go.”

What sets the 2kGrey look apart is its functionality as a riding pant while looking great as a jean outside the barn -- a practicality many breeches can't offer: “There is value in having your performance apparel also work as an everyday pant. The fit is very flattering, and the styling is both fun and fashionable,” said Ranzer.

The best seats – in the ring or the house – this season at the Global Dressage Festival will belong to 2kGrey. Learn more about its stylish line of women's equestrian fashion and more at www.2kgrey.com.
