The 2014 Palm Beach Series Begins This Saturday at the Ridge at Wellington

Wellington, FL - December 4, 2013 - The 2014 Palm Beach Series has returned to the Ridge at Wellington this winter. The first show is scheduled to take place this upcoming weekend, December 7-8, 2013, and each consecutive show will take place the first weekend of the month. Each year, the Ridge at Wellington offers the Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation Schooling Shows, as well as "Equitation Tuesday" Shows for riders of all levels. The Ridge at Wellington is a fantastic venue that offers state-of-the-art footing, as well as an affordable showing rate. The relaxed environment at the Ridge at Wellington provides divisions at all levels, and also provides temporary stabling for all events. Whether you are preparing for the Winter Equestrian Festival, or simply honing talent, the Ridge at Wellington offers the best of both worlds with gracious amenities, and fantastic events for all experience levels.

The Ridge at Wellington's 2014 Palm Beach Series has five available weekends. The Double Point Series Finale and Award Presentation will take place during the April show dates. Riders can look forward to classes for all experience levels, and will be able to show in a relaxed environment with an "old fashioned" atmosphere. Saturdays will offer hunter and equitation classes, while Sundays will stand as the jumper days. During the February and March schooling shows, the Ridge at Wellington will also offer a Low/High Hunter Derby with fences set at 2'6" or 3'. This two-round classic will bring back the top 12 horses from the first round to compete for the championship.
