The Para-Equestrian is set to make history when for the first time ever, this discipline will be part of the 2010 Alltech World Equestrian Games next fall in Lexington, Kentucky. With the largest field ever set to compete at the 2008 Caanan Ranch CDI 3*/Y/J/CPDEI3*, at the beautiful Lamplight Equestrian Center, near Chicago in Wayne, Illinois, competitors have come from Canada, California, Ireland, Mexico, and the USA to earn their certificate of qualification.

Lloyd Landkammer heads the well oiled management team who will also be managing the Para and Dressage at the World Equestrian Games. The show grounds are polished and bright with the ringside color Lamplight is so well know for.

Lamplight is also the location for the 2009 Markel/USEF National Young Horse Dressage Championships for the top Four, Five and Six Year Old Divisions, August 21-23, and will be starting of the Central US Selection Trials for the FEI World Young Horse Championships.

DressageDaily and PhelpsPhotos are on the scene and will be bringing highlights, features and results.
