Dr. Cesar Parra and Robinson will represent Colombia in dressage at the World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, September 10 – 22, 2002.

Parra, of Whitehouse Station, NJ, and his 11-year old horse Robinson put in decent Grand Prix rides at the Blainville CDI***W qualifying them to compete in the World Equestrian Games. Robinson (by Rubinstein II) and Parra scored 60.80% in the Grand Prix, ranking fifth, and 61.72% in the Grand Prix Special, placing second.

He will take Robinson along with four other horses, including Pik-L and Glorioso, owned by Horses Unlimited, to Germany for a month before the WEG for training. He will be training with Herr Hans Rueben in Aachen and has planned to show Robinson while there to gain extra European exposure prior to the WEG.

Dr. Cesar Parra is one of only four dressage trainers residing in the United States to be recognized by the exclusive International Dressage Trainer’s Club based in Denmark.
