It was a night which has gone down in equestrian history. Record breaking crowds and scores and the finest dressage from around the world. Four years ago when pre purchase tickets for the Alltech/FEI World Equestrian Games were made available, I bought a set of six tickets for the Opening Ceremonies and Dressage, with the help of Markel Equine Insurance the company I work for who has made so much of what we can bring to you possible. Two tickets were donated to our fundraiser for Equestrian Aid and the other four have been shared with friends, clients, and family. As credentialed media I have front row seats throughout the entire Games, but last night for the Grand Prix Freestyle, I took a seat with Liz Ruggiero, our Horsemarket manager, Reisa Bonetti and her Mom of dressagetrainingonline.com and in some of the best seats in the house enjoyed the show. That’s us behind the American flag. We have to get back to the event to catch some of the cross country, but I wanted to share some images from the night, with more to come later……
