Monday, August 20, 2012 | Posted by Mary Phelps
Only one week after the closing ceremony of the very successful and well organised Olympic Games in London, home celebrations for medal winners are at stake, while in London all energy is focused immediately on the next challenge, organising the best Paralympic Games ever. So Sark’s Olympic gold medal winner Carl Hester is back in the island this weekend visiting family, but he’ll also be toasted at a Vin d’Honne. His golden pupil Charlotte Dujardin (l) is joining him, as well as teamchef Richard Davison (r) is joining the party. And also cheering and toasting with family and friends. Thanks to Facebook friends and the Guernsey Post we are happy to share those happy moments with our readers!
