Well-respected international dressage trainer and rider for Canada Neil Ishoy passed away on November 4, 2015 at the age of 56. In lieu of flowers, donations to Equine Guelph would be appreciated by Neil’s family. Donations can be made online at www.equineguelph.ca. Partner, husband and coach to one of Canada’s most successful Olympic dressage riders, Cindy Ishoy he was the proud father of his daughter Kahla and his son Zach.

Ishoy competed for the Canadian Eventing Team in the 1980 Alternate Olympics and the 1982 World Championships. He had concentrated on training and had not competed internationally since 2009. He represented Canada in the 2002 at th World Cup Final with Andiamo Tyme. Neil and Cindy operated a dressage training and sales business at Hannon, Ontario. He will be deeply missed by his parents Buck and Molly, his brother Mark, and their children Claire and Matt. A private family service will be held at a later date.
