Dressage Grand Prix Victory for Isabell Werth and Emilio in Fritzens, Austria

German victory in the Grand Prix Special Tour at 22. Manfred Swarovski tournament at Schindlhof with Isabell Werth and the the young Westphalen gelding Emilio (x Ehrenpreis/M.v. Cacir) topped a field of 26 entries in the Grand Prix where the in the top 5 placings, 4 German horse and rider combinations guided by national coach Monica Theodorescu showed the depth and talent of their country.

Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and the KWPN Zaire-E (v.Son de Niro/M.v.Jazz ) were second with a 75,54.

The third spot Ireland Olympic rider Judy Reynolds with the lovely and talented Vancouver K a KWPN by Jazz/M.v.Ferro with a 71.5. Just the final pirouette affected a test that was rivaling the leaders.

Hostess Evelyn Haim-Swarovski and Dorina qualify 12th place in the top starting field for the Grand Prix Special on Sunday.

Isabell Werth who, with calm and steady nerves presented the uncomplicated 10-year-old gelding Emilio. “78.96 percent is an international best for Emilio, he has greatly improved, especially in the canter tour. His potential is great, but there is a thing or two to work on, ” said Isabell Werth in ClipMyHorse.TV interview. Emilio along with Weihegold, the current top horse of the 5-time Olympic champion, is on the Olympic entry list of the German Association. “To come to Schindlhof, is always like a holiday for me, “said Werth. “It’s a great place, especially when the sun shines so as today.”
