Danielle Gavriluk’s beloved Grand Prix horse “Highlife K” (Hohenstein x Dorata K) recently passed away from complications due to colic surgery. Danielle imported Highlife K as a 3-year-old from Germany where in the following year he won his first USEF 4-year-old class with a 92% and was the USDF Region 8 Training level Champion. Highlife K was also USDF Region 8 Champion at Prix St Georges and then Region 8 Champion the following year at Intermediare-I. In 2017, he was 3rd place in Grand Prix Championship and was ranked 23rd in the country at Grand Prix.

Highlife K was not only a top show horse throughout his career, but the highlight of Danielle’s day. Danielle described Highlife K as the “love of her life” and she is truly heartbroken to have lost such a special partner. Highlife was an absolute joy to be around and words cannot express the true love and special bond they shared.
