The 2025 US Dressage Finals presented by Adequan® will be held October 30 through November 2 at a new venue, World Equestrian Center (WEC) in Wilmington, Ohio. The US Dressage Finals, now in its 12th year, is a national championship competition for juniors/young riders, adult amateurs, and open riders with classes from Training Level through Grand Prix and offers more than $125,000 in prize money. The premier event attracts competitors from every corner of the country, aiming to capture the sashes, ribbons, and titles on offer.

The onsite amenities offered by WEC – Wilmington are unmatched, and the facility ensures all 2025 championship classes are held in climate-controlled arenas. Additionally, horses will be stabled in WEC – Wilmington’s more than 750 permanent climate-controlled stalls, giving competitors and horses a consistent, comfortable environment and eliminating the unpredictability of fall weather conditions in the region. The venue also features multiple dining and lodging options for visitors, including pet-friendly rentals.
“We are thrilled to bring the 2025 US Dressage Finals to World Equestrian Center – Wilmington,” said United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Competitions Director, Krystina Wright. “This venue offers an unparalleled experience; competitors can expect world-class facilities both for them and their horses, so they can focus on performing their best in the ring. WEC – Wilmington is a renowned equestrian sport destination with proven experience in staging championship events. It’s going to be a truly exceptional Finals.”
2025 Finals Prize List
***Entries for Finals open on September 10, 2025, and close at midnight ET on Saturday, October 11, 2025.***
As in 2024, a United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) rated competition — the USDF Fall Classic — will run alongside the Finals at the same venue. It is open to both Finals and non-Finals horses, allowing riders to bring more horses along to take advantage of WEC’s outstanding facilities.
Riders competing at the 2025 US Dressage Finals presented by Adequan® qualify through nine different Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional Dressage Championships held over three weekends:
September 10-14 (Region 2)
September 18-21 (Regions 5, 7, 8)
October 2-5 (Regions 1, 4, 6, 9)
October 3-5 (Region 3)
Declaration Process and Expanded Nomination Window
Riders qualified for Regional Championships who are interested in qualifying for Finals by placing (rather than through a wild card) must submit a declaration of intent. Declarations are free, now open, and can be made until midnight the day before the relevant Regional Championship begins. A separate declaration is required for each level/division in which the horse/rider combination wishes to enter at Finals.
The nomination process for the US Dressage Finals happens immediately after each Regional Championship show. For 2025, there is an extra day to submit nominations. Competitors must submit their nominations by midnight ET on the Friday immediately following their Regional Championship to remain eligible to make a Finals entry.
