I look forward to playing a small part in the success of the team at the Games,” said Lambert. Competitors in the seven FEI disciplines-show-jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting and reining (Western dressage)- are meeting at the World Equestrian Games Aachen 2006 to compete for 16 WEG titles. Held only every four years like the Olympics, these games are the most important equestrian sporting event in the world and bring together the best riders in each discipline whose top level performances thrill spectators, while their magnificent horses astonish with their quality and great beauty. Torri Nahorniak, USEF’s Managing Director of Eventing is delighted with her support team and looking forward to working with Lambert, as well as the athletes in Germany this summer. “Shelley is an exceptional event organizer and her experience and dedication to the sport makes her an invaluable asset to the team at the WEG. She knows how to handle the logistics that come with this kind of international competition and the team is thrilled to have her.” PHOTO CAPTION: Shelley Lambert, Director of Events is pictured at the Florida Horse Park with Chairman Tom Warriner and Board member Dick Hancock.
