Party Time for USA Dressage Team!

We now are in the Aachen Marketplace Square, at the stage in front of the Cathedral for the City's Celebration of Champions. A couple of thousand citizens of Aachen, visitors to Aachen, and fans of dressage have congregated here to meet and cheer for the 3 Medal Teams. Not only does this City know how to put on a horse show, but they know how to celebrate!

Our team was shuttled here to share the stage with the members and coaches of the Dutch and German teams. When we leave here shortly, the American contingent is headed to the beautiful Quellenhoff Hotel to join the party thrown by the USEF for our team and the US fans attending the WEG.

Then tomorrow is a day off, Friday is the Special, and Saturday night the Freestyle--truly, a dressage fan's dream.

Cheers to the USA. I'll report after our team schools tomorrow and again on Friday during the Special.
