Lexington, KY - April 30 - Mari Inouye, from Palo Alto, California, competing for Sundance Vaulters, won the women’s competition held Sunday, April 27, at CVI** Nitra, Slovakia, on Scarletto Sun (Sonnenstrahl x Simone) a 14-year-old Trakehner gelding owned by Phoebe H. Cooke of Woodside, CA. Having won both rounds, Inouye’s overall score was 7.913. Scarletto Sun won the best horse award.
