Darren Chiacchia to Ride Better I Do It at Pan American Games, Phillip Dutton to Ride Truluck

Lexington, KY – The United States Equestrian Federation announces two changes to the Eventing Team for the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The eventing portion of the competition begins July 19.

Better I Do It owned by Adrienne Iorio, and ridden by Darren Chiacchia will replace Bonnie Mosser and Merloch. Phillip Dutton will ride Truluck, owned by Ann Jones and Shannon Stimson, instead of Connaught.

Unfortunately Bonnie Mosser’s horse Merloch (owned by Mosser) and Connaught (owned by Bruce Duchossios) were withdrawn by their riders for veterinary reasons.

The Eventing Squad now is composed of the following riders and horses (owners):

  • Stephen Bradley and From (Bradley and Charlotte Harris)
  • Darren Chiacchia and Better I Do It (Adrienne Iorio)
  • Mara Dean and Nicki Henley (Willow Bend Farm)
  • Phillip Dutton and Truluck (Ann Jones and Shannon Stimson)
  • Gina Miles and McKinlaigh (Miles, Thomas Schulz and Laura Coats)
  • Karen O’Connor and Theodore O’Connor (The Theodore O’Connor Syndicate)
