It was simply wonderful to be in a sold out arena full of like-minded people...knowledgeable dressage fans who came from around the world to see the sports' premier riders compete for the title of World Cup Dressage Champion.

The final night of freestyle competition was like a dream. The atmosphere was electric as the audience witnessed 4 rides in the 80%-plus range. Just when you thought you had seen the best ride ever, the next rider would come along with an even better score. You know how it is !

I feel so fortunate and honored to have played a role in sponsoring and promoting this event. I think the most gratifying feeling for me was to walk through the crowds in the arena after handing out the awards and having so many people whom I had never met before approach me with hand extended to thank me for having sponsored this event, and for having made it possible for the event to be televised (June 6th, Outdoor Life Network).

Everyone who was there, from the judges to the competitors to the fans, knows they were treated to something very special and unique. Even a longtime equestrian reporter in attendance for the final press conference was nearly in tears as she raised her hand - not to ask a question - but to simply declare how truly beautiful it had been just to be in attendance to witness the brilliance of the most spectacular dressage freestyle programs ever performed.

This changes everything for the sport of dressage. When potential sponsors watch the television program and see the size and energy level of the audience, they will want to become involved with the sport.
