| NRHA Million Dollar Rider, Bill Horn, to Ride
in Reining Debut at USET Festival of Champions
NRHA Million Dollar Rider, Bill Horn will
demonstrate the art reining in the upcoming reining debut during
the Eight Annual Bayer/USET Festival of Champions, June 18-21.
Horn will conduct reining demonstrations on June 20 at 12:10-12:30
and June 21st at 12:40-1:00.
The Festival of Champions, held at the USET Headquarters and
Olympic Training Center, Gladstone, NJ, will showcase the nation's
best horses and riders in each USET discipline as they vie for
USET Championships, as well as the premier debut of Reining as
the sixth USET discipline.
Horn was the first person to achieve NRHA Million Dollar Rider
status and became a member of the NRHA Hall of Fame in 1992. Currently,
Horn has earned $ 1,145,550.29 in NRHA Reining competition. The
greatest lifetime earning of any rider in the NRHA.
Horn will be riding reining horse great, Trashadeous, and Little
Gump. Trashadeous, a 1987 Paint stallion, has won over $ 100,500 in NRHA
Reining competition and is a reining great in his own right.The
paint stallion, known for his powerful rollbacks, was inducted
into the NRHA Hall of Fame in 1996."Trash" ridden by
Horn, was the 1990 NRHA Open Futurity Reserve Champion and the
1991 NRHA Open Derby Champion.
Horn will also ride one of his newest stars Little Gump, a 1994
Quarter Horse stallion owned by Patricia Feuerstein. Little Gump
recently won the Carolina Classic Open derby in Raleigh, NC.
Frank Costantini, NRHA President, and Bill Horn will be available
following the demonstrations to answer questions, from spectators
and to provide information about the sport of reining.
