"Our inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Gala was truly a special night for all involved. We look forward to building upon that foundation as we continue to celebrate the legends of our sport," said Mark Samuel, Chair of the Jump Canada Hall of Fame. "It is therefore with excitement, honour and respect that we announce this year's slate of worthy inductees, who represent a diverse selection in terms of both geography and era."

Emphasizing the importance of creating the Jump Canada Hall of Fame, Samuel continued, "The very fact that certain inductees are potentially no longer household names underscores the unique value of the Hall of Fame in that it can reconnect current and future generations with the legacy of achievement that has gone before."
