Wellington, FL – March 9, 2006 – For the second week in a row at the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), Jennifer Reid of Wellington, FL, and Jiminy Crickett have come home with a tricolor ribbon in the Adult Amateur 18-35 Hunters. Their consistent performances throughout the Winter Equestrian Festival have led to a current third place ranking for the WEF Circuit Championship in the Adult Amateur 18-35 Hunter division.

On February 25-26 during the Zada Enterprises, LLC Wellington Masters week, Reid and Jiminy Crickett, owned by Richard Schechter of Bainbridge Farm, reigned supreme in their division. The pair had a stellar weekend as they jumped to first and third place ribbons on Saturday and a fifth on Sunday. A third place ribbon under saddle secured the championship for the pair. “The conditions were not good, but he is definitely better in this kind of inclement weather,” Reid explained. “I couldn’t have asked for a better ride than I got on Saturday.”

“I am so thrilled that Jiminy was champion this week,” Reid said with a smile. “He is just the most consistent horse. He’s been in the ribbons every week at WEF. Being champion was a big goal of ours, and he really rose to the occasion.”

The weather improved for the next week, the CN Worldwide Wellington Open, presented by Cosequin. On March 4, Reid and Jiminy Crickett finished in second place. They returned on Sunday, March 5, for second and third place ribbons. Their top placings gave them the reserve championship in the highly competitive division.

"In addition to Jiminy jumping better and competing successfully against WEF's top hunters, one of our key ingredients to our success is our trainer Gary Duffy of Littlebrook Farm,” Reid acknowledged. “He knows exactly what each horse is feeling and takes his time getting to know each horse in order to obtain peak performance from every one of them. I think we have a major advantage having Gary training me. He's a great trainer and a superior horseman. We couldn't have gotten as far as we have without him being part of our program, and I expect things to only get even better from here on out."

As owner of Bainbridge Farm, Schechter has horses that compete in the Adult Amateur Hunters, Pre-Green Hunters, and Pony Hunters. Schechter is also the President and CEO of The Bainbridge Companies, LLC, which was the title sponsor of week four at the Winter Equestrian Festival.

For 2006, The Bainbridge Companies, LLC increased their sponsorships to include the title sponsorship of a week at WEF, the Syracuse International Sporthorse Tournament, the Washington International Horse Show, the Lake Placid Horse Show, and the I Love New York Horse Show.
