The Young Jumper Championship Invitational – Round Two

Wellington, FL - December 2, 2005 - Round Two of the $80,000 Young Jumper Championship Invitational highlighted the Friday afternoon schedule in the DeNemethy Arena at the 122nd National Horse Show and Family Festival.

The $80,000 Young Jumper Championships Invitational consists of three sections, one for horses 5 years of age, one for horses 6 years of age, and one for horses 7 & 8 years of age. Qualifying for the event took place between January 1, 2005 and October 9, 2005. Each section is restricted to thirty top entries.

The top fifteen horse and rider combinations in each section advance to the Championship on Sunday. The scores from today were added to Thursday’s first round scores to determine the top fifteen entries. Those competitors then start with a clean slate on Sunday for the Championship.

The Course Designer for the Young Jumper Championships is Manuel Esparza of Mexico.
