| Trevor Coyle Cruises to Victory
in the Aachen Grand Prix
Trevor Coyle and his 14-year-old Irish stallion Cruising had the only clear round in the four-horse jump-off that decided the class. For Coyle, Sunday's win was the realization of a long-held goal. "This was the biggest ambition I've ever had," he said. "You see the name of the previous winners on the wall here and that has always inspired me to scribble my name up there."
Anne Kursinski of the U.S., who was riding for her second Pulsar Crown win, but unfortunately, a rail at the second last fence in the jump-off cost her the win and left her in second place. She does, however, still have another chance to increase her Pulsar Crown earnings with a win at the Grand Prix of Valkenswaard in August. Related
