Ariat International, Inc. Becomes Title Sponsor of Tulsa Reining Classic

One of the National Reining Horse Association’s premier futurities just acquired a new name and logo. The “Ariat® Tulsa Reining Classic”, formerly the Jim Glover Chevrolet Tulsa Reining Classic, will be held August 30-September 2 at Tulsa Expo Square. Hosted by the Oklahoma Reining Horse Association, the Ariat® Tulsa Reining Classic will award over $200,000 in cash and prizes, including Ariat® Cobalt™ XR boots.

“Everyone wants to win a pair of Ariat boots!” says event chairperson, Tami Wagman. “In the show office the question ‘How do I win Ariat boots?’ gets asked almost as much as ‘When will the draw be posted!?’ That’s saying a lot!”

According to Wagman, the boots are popular with the reining community. “The exhibitors love them and I love them. Last year I was able to keep my Ariat boots on the entire show. With all my running around, I usually have to resort to tennis shoes by the second day!”
