Monday July 10, 2006 The Fort Dodge Animal Health NRCHA Celebration of Champions! It’s a new name for a great show as the finest in traditional cowboy competition and cow horse action returns to the Lone Star Arena in Stephenville, Texas February 17-25 and the Fort Dodge Animal Health NRCHA Celebration of Champions takes over the Cowboy Capitol of the World! The 2007 event, which combines the popular World's Greatest Horseman with the National Reined Cow Horse Association World Championship Show and Circle Y Derby, has been sponsored in the past by Bayer Legend™, explained NRCHA Sponsor Committee Chairman Carol Rose. “Bayer Legend has been a tremendous supporter of the National Reined Cow Horse Association since April of 2002. Although Bayer Legend has temporarily changed its direction of sponsorship in the equine market, we appreciate their support through June of this year. We thank them for being a integral part of our growth and look forward to a continued relationship with the Bayer company in years to come.” Rose was quick to welcome the increased participation of Fort Dodge. “Fort Dodge West Niles Innovator has been a Corporate Partner of the NRCHA and its official Equine Vaccine Company since January of 2005 and the company has had first right of refusal for upgrading the Partnership to including the title sponsor of the NRCHA Celebration of Champions in the event it became available Rose, with Fort Dodge Equine National Sales Manager Laura Primm, was able to work out details of the title sponsorship and the announcement was made June 22. Rose noted, “Laura Primm, an avid cow horse enthusiast, is very excited that the title sponsorship was available to Fort Dodge for 2007.“ It’s a great show for exhibitors and fans alike. All the events run concurrently, giving reined cow horse fans a chance to see every facet of reined cow horse competition – from snaffle bit to bridle – from Limited Non Pro to the most elite of World’s Great All Around competition. “Since its inception it has become an amazing gathering of the best of the best,” said NRCHA President Dan Roeser. “There’s never been a show like this, and the association appreciates Fort Dodge for becoming the title sponsor.” The week of competition builds to a crescendo of rewarding exemplary achievement. The NRCHA World Championship Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday, February 24 ---- and the finals of the World’s Greatest Horseman ends the Fort Dodge Animal Health NRCHA Celebration of Champions on Sunday, February 25.
