Posted February 4, 2006 2006 NRCHA - Bloomer Trailer Drawdown Announced The Bloomer Trailer Drawdown will be a highlight of the National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity, September 18-October 1. In the innovative NRCHA Bloomer Drawdown, names of all members of the National Reined Cow Horse Association are put into a hopper, along with the names of owners and riders of each placing entry at every NRCHA Show from September 1, 2005 through August 31, 2006. The excitement begins on Day One of the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity in Reno, Nevada, when 100 names are drawn from those thousands eligible. Those one hundred names will be posted next to the Bloomer Drawdown trailer and each day, seven names will be drawn out. The un-drawn names remain in the draw and are still eligible to win. Finally, on October 1, there will be nine names left and they will be drawn out one-by-one in the center of the Reno Livestock Events Center arena. The last name left will receive a fully-equipped deluxe Bloomer 3-horse slant trailer. The gooseneck trailer, valued at over $32,000, has a 4’ short wall dressing room, with an escape door with a drop down. It also features lower corrugated stainless sides, a stainless nose wrap, spare tire and three lights. Carol Rose, NRCHA Sponsor Committee Chairman, noted, “For the past three years, the trailer drawdown has been one of the most exciting highlights of the Snaffle Bit Futurity as every member of the National Reined Cow Horse Association has an opportunity to win the trailer.
