December 3, 2003 - National Reined Cow Horse Association Sponsor Committee Chairman Carol Rose announced in late November that Kalpowar Quarter Horses has come on board to sponsor the 2004 NRCHA World Championship Show.

"We're excited that Kalpowar Quarter Horses has committed to sponsor the first World Championship Show," stated Rose. She continued, "The Bell Family have been long-time Breeder Sponsors of the National Reined Cow Horse Association and Larry Bell has been a driving force behind making the dream of a NRCHA World Championship show a reality. Their decision to change and increase Kalpowar's sponsorship support by providing World Show added money is much appreciated and shows their commitment to making this event a success!"

Larry Bell commented, "We think that holding this World Championship Show is one of several significant steps that the NRCHA has taken recently to truly broaden and showcase reined cow horses to the entire United States. Consequently it was very important to us to help make this show successful."

Kalpowar Quarter Horses, owned by the Bell Family, is based in Midland, Texas. It has recently expanded to include new operations in both Stephenville and Weatherford, Texas, as well.
