NRCHA World's Greatest Horseman Competition on the Next "America's Horse" Television One horse, one rider, one very impressive title Amarillo, Texas - September 12, 2003 - Horse and rider compete in four challenging events at the National Reined Cow Horse Association World's Greatest Horseman Contest. Only "America's Horse" brings you the excitement on Wednesday's show at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on the Outdoor Life Network. The NRCHA World's Greatest Horseman Contest drew 27 entries from across the United States. The contest consists of four events - herd work (cutting-type event), reining, steer stopping (roping) and the exciting cow or fence work - with the top composite scores competing for the $30,000 first place check. Meet some of the exhibitors - an Oklahoma ranch cowboy who's competing in his first World's Greatest Horseman competition and a California horseman who's looking to score a win. "America's Horse" follows them through the rigors of competition. Tune in on Tuesday, September 16 at 7:30 p.m. for an encore of the 45th running of the All American Futurity from Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico. From historic ranches and premier competitions to scenic trail rides and colorful people, "America's Horse" leads the way in equestrian lifestyle television. Beginning October 5, "America's Horse" moves to Sundays at 6 p.m. Eastern as the lead-in show to Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and Professional Bull Riding events at 7 and 8 p.m. Eastern, respectively.
