Annual Legacy Reining Breeders Sale to Feature Welcome Party
Aubrey, TX - August 1, 2003 - The Legacy Reining Breeders Sale, slated for Sunday, October 19, will present the best in yearling reining prospects and broodmares from Green Valley Farm, Kyle Ranch, Dell Hendricks Reining Horses, McQuay Stables, and Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses, but this year, the action starts early. A special "Welcome Party" is slated at Green Valley Farms for Saturday, October 18 and everyone is invited for a night of delicious barbecue, entertainment and special video viewings beginning at 6 pm. Horses will be available for viewing beginning Saturday morning. The sale will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday. All yearlings in the 2003 sale will be enrolled in the NRBC. The sale is strictly a black-type sale. Every broodmare in the sale is either a performer or producer. Likewise, all the sale yearlings will be out of producing or performing mares. The individuals who make up the Legacy Reining Breeders Group are some of the most prominent reiners and breeders in the industry. Tim McQuay is the National Reining Horse Association's All Time Leading Rider and McQuay Stables is the home of $3 Million Sire, Hollywood Dun It. Pete and Tamra Kyle's Whitesboro, Texas Ranch is home to Reining and Cow Horse World Champion Tejons Peppy Doc, while Dell Hendricks Reining Horses is home to NRBC Champion Starlights Wrangler. Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses and Green Valley Farm in Aubrey, Texas, are home to Lil Ruf Peppy and Smart Starbuck, as well as USET Champion Smartest Chic Olena.
