Amarillo, Texas - February 10, 2003 - The National Reining Horse Association Futurity takes center stage on this week's premiere episode of "America's Horse," the only television series dedicated to covering the horse industry on the Outdoor Life Network.

The 2002 NRHA Futurity open finals featured 30 top 3-year-old reining horses and exhibitors competing for a $150,000 check to the winner. The excitement of the crowd grew with each exhibitor until the 29th horse, Wimpys Little Step and Shawn Flarida. The duo earned a 233, the second highest score in NRHA Futurity, and a standing ovation from the crowd. "America's Horse" will feature the winning run as explained by Flarida, who also represented the United States at the 2002 World Equestrian Games, taking home team and individual gold medals. An encore episode is set for Sunday, February 16 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern and Wednesday, February 19 at 7 p.m. Eastern.

The full hour of "America's Horse" kicks off at 7 p.m. with an encore presentation of the Working Ranch Cowboys Association World Championship Rodeo from Amarillo, Texas followed by the NRHA Futurity Finals at 7:30 p.m.
