Reining Horse Association Schedules 2003 Convention
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma June 24, 2002 The National Reining Horse Association has announced that the NRHA Convention will be held in 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to NRHA Convention Committee Chairman Jon Rath, the convention, which will take place February 6-8, 2003, will be held at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino. The theme of the event is Education, Communication and Entertainment, stated Rath. The NRHA Awards Banquet, formerly held during the NRHA Derby, will become a part of the convention, as will seminars and demonstrations and some special fun activities. Rath added that the schedule for the convention activities will be finalized in coming months. The National Reining Horse Association is the worldwide governing body of reining, responsible for promoting the sport, working to insure the highest standards of competition.
