The Houston Dressage Society Announces Scott Hassler Symposium For Young Dressage Horses - January 13-14

Scott HasslerScott Hassler, well-respected breeder, trainer, rider and coach, will be featured at the Houston Dressage Society 2007 Symposium held January 13-14, 2007, co-hosted by Canaan Ranch in Fulshear, Texas. The purpose of the symposium is to educate our dressage enthusiasts in Region 9 to assess performance potential in young horses and to develop realistic goal setting for training. In addition to informing participants and auditors about development of young horses, he will discuss strategies in selecting competition venues, quality of gaits of young horses and training to make the FEI Young Horse Tests a realistic goal.

He will be using top three, four, five and six year olds for demonstration, and there will be information and demonstration about the advanced young horse program which includes seven through nine year olds. There will be time for question and answer at intervals throughout the program.
