Advanced Young Riders Clinic Series Continues with Conrad Schumacher
The United States Dressage Federation (USDF) announces the return of Conrad Schumacher of Germany as the clinician for a series of Advanced Young Rider clinics. Held in five locations throughout the country, this unique program offers top European training to riders who may one day represent the United States in international competition. Auditors are encouraged to attend. Mr. Schumacher has trained European Young Rider Championship First place team and Individual medal winners Thomas Losch, Sebastian Heinemann, Sven Rothenberger, Anja Ploenzke and Oliver Klinnert from 1979 through 1989. He also trained European Championship, World Championship and Olympic riders Ellen Bontje, Sven Rothenberger and Gonnelien Rothenberger. Most recently Mr. Schumacher coached Sven and Gonnelien Rothenberger to their Silver medal team finish and Sven to his Individual Bronze medal in the 1996 Olympics. Mr. Schumacher's students have won 37 international medals. Locations
and Dates The clinics are run as a three-day intensive learning program. Mr. Schumacher will work with the young riders in private lessons on all three days of the clinic. When not riding, participants watch and learn from Mr. Schumacher as he instructs others and explains his methods. One or two lectures will also be featured in the clinics. Auditors are welcome, and daily auditor rates are available. The clinics are an unparalleled opportunity to learn from one of the master trainers of today. Both juniors and adults are welcome.
