Bessemer Donating Television Advertising Time to American Quarter Horse Foundation

New York, August 30, 2001 - Bessemer Trust Company N.A. announced that it is donating national television advertising time to the American Quarter Horse Foundation. The television air time represents a portion of Bessemer's recently announced sponsorship of the Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships. The television spots will appear on CBS, ESPN, and ESPN 2 between now and October 2001.

The American Quarter Horse Foundation's mission is to encourage by public contribution, support of the educational, research and charitable projects related to the American Quarter Horse. It also offers scholarship support for selected members of the American Quarter Horse Youth Association and students pursuing education related to American Quarter Horse racing and provides financial support for equine research that benefits all horses.
