There will be a special function for media to attend to meet the 30 members who will comprise the three teams of Team Wrangler.

The Team Wrangler Reception will be held Wednesday, November 14 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Oklahoma City's State Fair Park Coliseum in the VIP Room.

Team Wrangler is an entirely new program develop by AQHA in partnership with Wrangler.

Thirty professionals will be divided by random draw into three teams. Team Cowboy Cut, Team 30X and Team Riata. Twenty-four professionals represent the show segment; six professionals will represent the racing segment.

Teams will compete for points throughout 2002. The team with the highest amount of points will be declared the winner. Each member of the winning team will receive a cash bonus. There also will be awards for exhibitor of the year (for showing) and trainer of the year (for racing).
