America's Horse Learning Center features educational elements designed to appeal to varying range of horse enthusiasts - from professionals to beginners - and is a joint project of the American Quarter Horse Foundation and AQHA's Corporate Partners.

America's Horse Course will take place Friday, November 9 - Sunday, November 11. The free night at the show will be Friday, November 9.

"Our goal is simple. We want to provide equine-related education and leadership training that will preserve, protect and enhance lifestyles that involve horses," said Robin Devin, Director of Education and Development for the American Quarter Horse Foundation. "Regardless of the breed of horse someone might own or their level of knowledge, everyone will take something valuable away from America's Horse Learning Center and America's Horse Course."

"America's Horse Course," begins Friday at 5:30 p.m. with a welcome reception and inspirational talk by Dr. Rick Rigsby, motivator, coach and professor at Texas A & M University. Saturday kicks off at 9 a.m. and will feature presentations by Dr. Dave Freeman, professor at Oklahoma State University and talks by renowned AQHA Professionals. The course also will include discussions and presentations on topics such as proper feed, fencing choices, veterinary care and trailering safety tips.

Everyone who attends America's Horse Course will be eligible for door prizes. Youth who visit America's Horse Learning Center can take part in a coloring contest for a $1 donation earmarked for the Afghanistan Children's Fund as requested by President George W. Bush.
