Pegasus Design Group Signs on as USEA Eventing Hall of Fame Gala Presenting Sponsor

Leesburg, Virginia - The USEA is thrilled to announce that Pegasus Design Group has signed on as the presenting sponsor of the USEA Eventing Hall of Fame Gala, which will be held December 8, 2007 at the USEA Convention in St. Louis, Missouri. Several of eventing’s greats, both horse and human, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame during the Gala, including: Denny Emerson, Michael Page, Karen Stives, Biko, and Kilkenny. The evening will start off with dinner and the induction ceremony, followed by dancing into the night.

“The Hall of Fame honors some of the best horses and riders in the sport’s history, so it’s fitting that Pegasus Design Group would sponsor the gala,” said Jo Whitehouse, CEO of the U.S. Eventing Association. “Holly Matt is a top-notch professional who understands the importance of a safe and happy environment for our horses and the people who care for them, and her support of the sport, and the Hall of Fame, is very much appreciated.”

Pegasus Design Group’s mission is to help create equine facilities in which the horses’ physical and emotional wellbeing is paramount, and to approach design with respect for each animal’s intelligence and needs for a sense of place, comfort, and safety.

Holly Ann Matt, principal of Pegasus Design Group, is an equine facilities expert who works with clients on equine facilities needs analysis, master planning, stable and arena design, land use consulting, footing analysis, and product selection and importation. In addition to being an accomplished architectural designer with two decades of experience working with commercial, institutional and private clients, Holly is a lifelong horse enthusiast and equine professional. Raised on a farm where horses were bred for racing and showing, she has competed and judged in regional, national and international-level horse industry events in various disciplines for the past 30 years, and is also an active eventing competitor up through the FEI levels.
