USEA Summer Saddle Raffle

Are you feeling lucky? Looking to upgrade your tack room with a new saddle?

Then look no further. The USEA is pleased to announce our Summer Saddle Raffle. The lucky winner will receive a 17.5” walnut brown medium tree Wofford Cross-Country Classic saddle, hand-crafted exclusively for Nunn Finer by master saddlers Hampson & Scott.

Raffle tickets can be purchased on-line by mail or fax through July 28, with the winning ticket to be drawn Friday, August 4, 2006.

This saddle was designed by Jim Wofford, one of eventing’s most talented competitors and teachers. His resume includes an impressive list of medals, including Olympic silver, Pan Am gold, and World Championships gold and bronze. He realized early-on that to be successful riding cross country, at any level, the rider needs to be in a saddle designed for the demands of cross-country. So he set out to design his own saddle and had one hand-crafted to his specifications.

Ticket prices: $10/ticket, or 3 for $25.

To order advance tickets through the USEA office, complete the raffle form on the USEA website (www.useventing.com) and mail it to the USEA with payment, or fax it to 703-779-0550 with a credit card number (Visa, MC, AmEx). Make sure order forms are faxed or post-marked by the July 28 deadline.

The winner will be contacted the week of August 7.
