Kim Vinoski American Eventing's Newest Star
Shines in Kentucky

Kim VinoskiIn 2000 Kim Vinoski was in the lead at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, but a rail on stadium jumping moved her into fourth place. This year she wasn't going to let that happen again. She may have won by only .41 points, but Vinoski and Winsome Adante, an English-bred Thoroughbred by Saunter out of Jus With Genoa, by Bohemond, walked away with their first four-star Championship.

In 1999, Vinoski placed second at Blenheim with Over The Limit, and won the Rolex/USET Three-Star Spring Championship at the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event presented by Bayer. She was able to travel with her young horse to Europe after receiving the 2001 USET Developing Rider European Competition and Training grant.

Last year, Vinoski and Winsome Adante, or "Dan," jumped into second place at Foxhall Cup CCI*** in May behind veteran competitors Karen O'Connor and Prince Panache, then won the Blenheim three-day event in England and earned the 2001 Horse of the Year award.
