"I began eventing at thirteen years old, but my Mom had drilled dressage into my basic training early on," Vinoski said. "I have trained with Mark Phillips, recently but have mostly been doing my flat work on my own. Vinoski, from Scottsville, Virginia, riding the twelve year old thoroughbred gelding Over the Limit, by Thunder Puddles out of Silky Scarlett and owned by Linda E.A. Wachmeister, won the CCI*** at Rolex Kentucky in 1999, then went on to England to win the Advanced Horse Trials at Henbury, England. Positioned as a favorite for the cross country phase, her comments on the cross country course gave credence to the difficulty facing the advanced riders of Michael Etherington-Smith's CCI**** course, the only Four Star Event in the United States.
