Silke Rembacz (pronounced ‘rembach')
Silke Rembacz was born in Bremen , Germany ; Rembacz competed at several International Championships in Europe including Rastede and the NATO Championships. Rembacz came to the United States as an exchange student in 1986, working at Walt Disney World. Originally a geology student, the lure of horses prevailed, and Rembacz established herself in the US horse world, becoming a citizen in 1999. In 2000 she competed in the USET Festival of Champions Intermediaire Championships on The Summit, and continues to import, develop and show horses for Hope Acres Farm, Winterage Stables in New Jersey , and Highlife Farms, in Orlando Florida . Riding Millennium, a 1994 KWPN Royal Dutch Warmblood by Nimmerdor, owned by Joanne and Tim Rothwell of Winterage Stables, Rembacz won the 2004 Heidelberg Cup, in Orlando , Florida , and qualified for the 2004 UESF Intermediare Championships. |
