Arlene Page
Arlene Page and her brilliant Holsteiner mare Claire (by Cassini out of an Appleking xx mare) had a nearly perfect show at the 2004 Dressage at the Equestrian Estates, held April 2-4, in Loxahatchee , Florida . She earned just the scores she was working for to lift her standings in the hotly contested top twelve positions for the 2004 Olympic Selection Trials to be held in San Juan Capistrano , California in June. At the 2001 Bayer/USET Festival of Champions , the duo won the Intermediaire Freestyle, placing third overall earning a grant to train in Europe , where she trained with Conrad Schumacher and Klaus Balkenhol. The pair made their Grand Prix debut in Europe placing at both Rotterdam and Wiesbaden in the top 10 to qualify for the Grand Prix Special. Page was a professional three-day event trainer, producing many successful Young Rider and Eventing champions. For the past 12 years, Page has been exclusively a dressage trainer. A wedding gift from her husband David Page, Claire is Tuny's “horse of a lifetime”. Arlene Page is also the mother of daughter Charlotte Ann. |
