Leslie Morse Born: November 26, 1961
The pair in 2001 where the Intemediaire Champions at the 2001 Festival of Champions in Gladstone as well as the 2003 Grand Prix Champions at the 2003 Festival of Champions. Morse and Kingston spent part of 2002 in England training with Kyra Kyrkland. 2003 was the combinations first season out at Grand Prix with many wins in USET Selection Trial qualifiers. Most currently the two qualified for the World Cup Team that competes in Dusseldorf, Gemany April 1-4, 2004 by placing 3 rd at the U.S. League finals in Burbank, CA. She also has been successful with her second mount, Tip Top, an approved Swedish stallion that is competing at Intemediaire. They both are in Europe training with Klaus Balkenhol. In 2000, Morse had considerable success with Greystoke, a 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding. They earned the U.S. Dressage Federation Horse of the Year title in Intermediaire II with an average of 70.00 percent. Greystoke (Volckmar—Zerona) also won the 1997 USET Intermediaire Championship. |

Leslie Morse and her partner Kingston (Voltaire—Gisnette, Landgraf), an 11-year-old, imported Dutch Warmblood stallion, have dominated the small tour on the West Coast since 2001. “He's pretty much a showman,” said Morse. “You go in and have the crowd, and he just grows.”
